EYP Recommends

European Young Professionals (EYP) London launched January 2007 and is the first European chapter of the organisation, which promotes links between young business professionals. EYP was founded in Asia in 2005 and has, due to an immense success, expanded to Europe with its first organisation launched in London.

EYP is talking to all business professionals who are young at heart, rather than defined by age. The aim of EYP London is to bring together and provide an active support network to all young professionals living and working in London.

The vision is to be innovative, supportive, diverse and to offer a unique, valuable networking experience to all members of EYP London. EYP members are spread among 45 countries; thus, it provides a unique networking platform.

James is an entrepreneur who has been in the UK since May 2007. He currently runs an environmental start up called Carbon Voyage.

Rune is an entrepreneur. With 10 years' experience in IT, dot-com and Telecommunications, Rune founded Victor Connect - SEO Consultancy London which offers consultancy on Search Engine Optimisation, Online Adverting, Paid and Natural Search.

Passions: Cooking, scuba diving and travelling

Creative Director

Ron is a co-founder, board member and in charge of the creative side of EYP London. He also runs a successful graphic & web design company in Tape London.

Katrina Swanston
PR and Events Director

Katrina is in charge of the communications for EYP Global. She is also renown for delivering creative, fun events for EYP London members. She works for communications consultancy, Verve Communications.

Director

Dougie’s ‘day job’ is Director of p.o.p. creative events, tailoring personalised corporate occasions for ‘perfectly original people’

Janet is an investment funds lawyer at Travers Smith LLP, a city law firm. She comes from Wales and has been based in London since 2003.

Franco is a web architect who loves London, travel, food, film and music.

Ligia Santos
Marketing

A native of Brazil and Italy, Ligia’s work experience embraces marketing, public relations and fashion retail. A Boston University graduate with a Bachelors degree in economics and international relations, she has recently relocated to London from NYC

Chris has a background in finance and adds a new edge to the organisation. Besides having traveled in more countries than anyone we know, Chris is as English as it gets.

Niamh Hughes

After studying in Germany, Niamh stepped into the working world by moving to London in August 2008, to work in Business Development for Velstone Ltd. With quite a bit of Sales and Marketing experience under her belt, she is actively social, loves meeting new people and learning of their experiences.

Piers Wickman

Piers grew up in Scotland, completing his education before working in the Army, the Property industry, and project management before moving to Brighton, to complete his MSc in Management.

Passion: Spending time in the outdoors, and socialising with friends

Rebecca Williams
Events Co-ordinator

Rebecca is as a senior Government policy adviser. She's back in the UK after time spent in Brussels working in the European Parliament. Her studies were in Politics and French, followed by a Masters at the Collège d'Europe in Bruges, Belgium. She's always interested in meeting new people and continuing to expand her international network.
